Messy Room

We are surrounded by beautiful pictures, carefully crafted status updates and an overall sense that everyone's lives are perfect.

It is pretty cool that we can edit ourselves online, but it's not very healthy. We need the bad to enjoy the good, but the negative or messy parts of our lives don't get shown very much, and I think it's a shame.

I strive to remain authentic, but I also get caught up in choosing what part of me I present into the online world.

Today I spent the whole day in my room studying for insane math tests, working on projects and hanging out in my messy room. I thought I'd share with you the mess instead of trying to arrange things for a perfect picture.

I appreciate and welcome the messy part of my life as well.
